About

Asia is a certified physician assistant living and working in Los Angeles. An Alabama native, she holds three degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham; her physician assistant degree, and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Public Health. Prior to entering the medical field, Asia was a professional model and carries her love for fashion and beauty into her career and social media. Both her blog & social media aim to educate, inform, and inspire those pursuing a medical education.

Asia is also passionate about social justice issues, particularly LGBTQ equality and sexual health. She currently works full-time as an primary care provider with a focus on the LGBTQ_+ community. On social media, Asia strives for authenticity, carefully curating brands with which to partner. She prides herself on providing quality, engaging, & beautiful deliverables.

In her not so free time, she likes to take yoga classes, read dystopian fiction, consume coffee all day long, and hang out with her dogs. She also hold a Master’s of Public Health and one day hopes to pursue a PhD in the subject. Asia started Couture in Clinic as a way to document her journey through this amazing field of medicine, share the things that she has learned with other PAs, pre-PAs, and fashion-lovers and marry her two seemingly very different passions.
